SEASON ENDS IN DEFEAT

After the disappointment of bowing out the cup the Crown only had 9 fit players to take on Odd Down SC. The Crown were defeated 8-2 but will take some pride in there performance against a strong Odd Down team.
CUP HEARTBREAK FOR CROWN

Crown & Horseshoe bowed out the Secretary's Cup at the semi final stage against ABS Sports. Crown could only field 10 fit players and struggled to break the opposition down. Finally defeated 2-1 after a later surge which saw former manager Matt Evans heading home.

Crown & Horseshoe know a win against ABS Sports on Sunday will book them a place in the final of the Secretary's KO Cup. The winners on Sunday will play Tramways at Twerton Park on Wednesday 7th May, Kick off 7.30 pm.

Crown & Horseshoe this evening beat Metro Stars 6 goals to 1 at Manor Road. A hatrick from Dave Bowden (3), James Ringland, James Batram and Mark Warlock sealed the impressive victory.

Crown & Horseshoe and Two Weir Town shared a point as the two teams battled out a 1-1 draw. Crown took the lead through Dave Bowden in the first half. The visitors levelled and the Crown will see it as 2 points dropped.

SAMS OUT WITH LIGAMENT DAMAGE

David Sams will be out of action for the rest of the season after suffering ankle ligament damage against Bristol City SC. The right-sider was making his twentieth appearance of the season in Crown colours, when on the tenth minute he was involved in a challenge on the halfway line that led to him limping in some considerable discomfort. He was taken to hospital and the specialist has confirmed ankle ligament damage, a injury that rules him out for 8 weeks.
10-MEN COMPLETE FIGHT BACK

Matt Summers completed an impressive fight back for Bristol City SC as the 10-men came from behind to win 5-4 at Lansdown. Crown looked certain to go on to win the game when Bristol City SC were reduced to 10-men, however City never gave up and completed the double over the Crown.
TATE SUFFERS INJURY SETBACK

Crown Striker Lee Tate has confirmed he will miss the remainder of the season after suffering a set back to his recovery from a broken leg.
